Deutsche Wehrmacht Armband
This is a late war produced armband, printed instead of embroided letters to save money and time.
We have had similar with stamps from Holland so it could also been produced there.
It bears the wording “Deutsche Wehrmacht” (German Armed Forces) in a Fraktur lettering style.
Armband is in very good condition, except for the tear on the back. As you can see it's not visual from the front or if you have it on a mannequin.
The yellow Deutsche Wehrmacht armband was worn by uniformed German personnel who were attached to the Armed Forces during WWII.
Often, these were worn by foreign volunteers and men of the Reichsarbeitsdienst and Reichsbahn who were operating with the German Army in the occupied countries.
