German WW2 Gaumeister 1936 pennant
This is a true rarity, we haven't found another one online, nor for sale or on any forum.
There would have been only this or a few of these ever made.
Gaumeister roughly translates to Winner (champion) in a competition between regions (districts).
The pennant measures roughly 170 x 80 mm, it was probably pinned to the breast or simply handed over to the winner.
Pennant is made of two separate cloth pieces, red and black, the text and triangle are very nicely chain stitched.
