German WW2 medic's armband
A WWII German medical armband, worn by military medical personnel (Heer, Luftwaffe, Waffen-SS combat medics) as well as members of the German Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz / DRK).
Made from lightweight, off-white/cream cotton linen with stitched top and bottom borders.
Features a red wool/cloth cross insignia centrally applied using a distinctive zigzag/satin stitch pattern along the outer edge.
Includes its safety pin used to secure the band around the tunic sleeve, allowing quick application and removal under field conditions.
Excellent condition with minor age patina and faint storage staining.
