German WW2 Luftwaffe Reconnaissance(Aufklärer) clasp in Gold with 1300 pendant
Excellent condition.
Overall a very nice gold wash on both back and front.
Working hardware on the back.
The clasp in gold mean that the receiver flew at least 110 missions.
Since there was no higher grade the pendant was introduced 1942 and you received it after 300 missions.
When many pilots reached the 300 mission mark they introduced the pendants with numbers in 1944.
In this case the receiver flew at least 1300 missions!!!
The hooks for the pendant was soldered on the badge, you either see it like this or factory made.
The pendant has a crack in the center, it was repaired at some point, the wearer probably got stuck in something.
