German WW1 Cased group of awards
Here is something you rarely see.
A custom made case with all the awards from one soldier.
Consists of the following awards:
1. Medal bar with the Iron Cross 2nd class 1914, marked S-W and the WW1 memorial/veteran's medal with swords for combatants.
2. Wound badge in silver 1914, cut-out version.
3. Iron cross first class 1914. Very nice variant were the screwback has been changed to a pinback version, 100% by a jeweller. Probably changed to make it easier to switch between uniforms or maybe the disc was lost, who knows?
All in very good condition.
