Last two pictures are to show the size and high relief eagle.
German Schiwettkämpfe der HJ Ehrenpreis.

The reverse bearing an engraved inscription of “EHRENPREIS DER OBERSTEN HJ FÜHRUNG” (“HONOUR PRIZE OF THE TOP HJ LEADERSHIP”),
Maker marked “DESCHLER U. SOHN”
Measuring 80 mm in diameter.
Very heavy, roughly 155 gram.
A very rare HJ prize in excellent condition.
This and several other variants are all produced by the company Deschler. Many years ago our picker friend in Germany got a call from someone clearing out the old Deschler warehouse. These are all unissued and in many cases rare prototypes, for example for events that never took place. We were lucky to be able and buy the last of them. Please note that these are not from the so called Deschler hoarde find, there mainly awards like the war merit cross were found. No plaques like this.
