German WW2 Wound badge in silver "übergrosse" Wiedmann/Deschler
This is a very sought after type called "übergrosse" due to it's size(bigger than normal).
The makers Wiedmann and Deschler who worked close together shared the same design .
But with this hinge and catch we can tell it was produced by Wiedmann.
This is the hollow version they produced, this is an accepted version and it was discussed and approved by the experts on Wehrmacht-awards forum.
Excellent condition, look better in hand than what the pictures show. The finish is shiny in hand.
Made of tombak with a silver wash.
All parts in working condition.
