World War II Italian Royal Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) aircrew specialist wing badge for a Wireless/Radio Operator (Radiotelegrafista / Marconista).
Stamped on the reverse wings with the famous manufacturer hallmark "BOMISA MILANO".
Outstretched eagle wings surrounding a central medallion featuring radiant lightning/radio wave arrows.
Made of aluminium. Width roughly 75 mm.
The wing is factory vaulted making it hard to take sharp photos.
Excellent condition, sharp die-struck detail, and the complete, functional long brass pin mechanism on the back.
