German WW2 Wound badge in silver 1939
Maker marked 'L/17', for the comany Hermann Werstein, Jena.
Note that it's difficult to say if this is a gold or silver badge.
The tone is golden but it could be a toned silver badge.
To be on the safe side we will sell it as a silver.
Set up variant with soldered on Hardware. The same version is in the German Combat award database, it's a known version.
Mid war production.
Remains in excellent condition with a nice finish.
