English: "Plaque of the Corps Leader of the National Socialist Flyers Corps - National Competition of the Flyers Hitler Youth - 1941"
Displays the iconic winged figure motif with the "NSFK" abbreviation, a prominent swastika, an enclosing oak leaf wreath border, and the maker stamp "DESCHLER U. SOHN" at the bottom.
Measures 80 mm in diameter with a substantial weight of approximately 150 grams.
Non-magnetic heavy metallic alloy with a crisp silver-toned finish.
Excellent ++ condition. No damages!
A rare and visually striking piece of aviation and youth organization history from World War II, a great item for any medal or plaque collector.
This and several other variants are all produced by the company Deschler. Many years ago our picker friend in Germany got a call from someone clearing out the old Deschler warehouse. These are all unissued and in many cases rare prototypes, for example for events that never took place. We were lucky to be able and buy the last of them. Please note that these are not from the so called Deschler hoarde find, there mainly awards like the war merit cross were found. No plaques like this.
