Marked on the reverse with 'Deutches Feld Ehrenzeichen Ges Gesch Hamburg II'.
The ‘Deutsches Feld-Ehrenzeichen’ was produced during the Weimar period and was a semi-official award. This award could be bought by veterans of the Frist World War. Its awarding and wear was banned in November 1935. It has a 2 rivet construction, the center medallion depicts a fully equiped WWI ‘Landser’.
