Iron Cross first second 1939.
Maker Otto Schickle, Pforzheim, unmarked as they usually are.
This is a very hard to find version with a brass or copper plated iron core.
We and our friend who is an iron cross expert have only seen two of these before.
The paint on the swaz is removed, a rather common thing the soldiers did to make it stand out more.
Overall a very nice and appealing cross.
