German WW2 Garmisch-Patenkirchen 1936 Olympic games Participation medal for officials
This and several other variants are all produced by the company Deschler. Many years ago our picker friend in Germany got a call from someone clearing out the old Deschler warehouse. These are all unissued and in many cases rare prototypes, for example for events that never took place. We were lucky to be able and buy the last of them. Please note that these are not from the so called Deschler hoarde find, there mainly awards like the war merit cross were found. No plaques like this.
Things like this was sold around the event, just like events today.

This is a prototype badge made in a very small quantity.
The official version don't have the swastika!
Condition: Excellent, unissued, conditon.
Size: Roughly 62 mm.
Material: Silver washed tombak/buntmetal/bronze.
