German WW2 Winterhilfs-Opferschiessen 1937-38 stickpin
Opferschiessen was a campaign organized by the Winterhilfswerk (WHW - Winter Assistance Programme) and the German Shooting Association in the late 1930s.
The word "Opfer" in this context refers to "sacrifice" or "offering" (donation), not a victim, meaning it was a shooting event designed to raise funds for charity.
This is a stickpin that you rarely see. Very nice design and a very good quality strike.
Made of silver washed brass.
Excellent ++ condition, look MUCH better in hand than what the pictures show.
Roughly 25 x 20 mm + stickpin
